Dan is the founder and CEO of Tailored Cents and is responsible for leading the organization on their mission to improve the lives of clients by working with them to build and implement custom financial plans. In his role, Dan is responsible for the execution of all aspects of the business and is focused on the organization’s growth objectives. In that, Dan works closely with every new client that Tailored Cents brings on to ensure an exceptional onboarding experience. Dan has been in the financial planning business since 2006 where he started his career with Prudential Financial. Throughout his time at Prudential, Transamerica Financial, and Strategic Financial Solutions, he learned many different aspects of the indsutry which lead him to develop a client focused virtual business model that is utilized today at Tailored Cents. Dan’s passion lies at the intersection of people and technology, leveraging the best of both to streamline operations and drive success for the firm. Dan has a relentless commitment to customer satisfaction, strategic vision, and deep industry knowledge which are instrumental in leading the firm's evolution.
Dan received his bachelor's degree and Masters in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Dan is a proud and active alum who sits on the Alumni Board of Directors where he previously was a two term President.
Active within his community, Dan serves on the board of Operation Hope of Fairfield and the Champions of Colorectal Cancer. He enjoys being involved in growing organizations and advises several that he is passionate about. Dan loves to mentor and coach and he makes time to serve as a certified mentor in the Catholic Bridge Mentorship Program of Bridgeport, CT. His greatest responsibility and joy is being a father to his 7 year old son, DJ, whose sports programs he is actively involved with including coaching an ascending little league baseball team. Dan resides in Fairfield, CT and is a sports nut who loves to play golf and root on his beloved Yankees, Knicks, and Giants.
